URGENT! Our shelter is in crisis. The increase in dogs and cats has skyrocketed expenses. Public aid only covers 11% of the annual costs, and private donations are not enough. Our facilities are collapsing, and the animals are stressed. We owe over 10,000 euros to veterinarians, and the bills keep increasing. In May alone, we received 37 dogs. PLEASE, HELP US (donate, become a member, volunteer, or foster)

Description : Zaida came to us in March 2022 along with 9 other dogs from a family that had too many dogs kept in very poor living conditions. Zaida has mostly been kept in a stable building and has never lived in a home with humans.

History : Due to the lack of socialization as a puppy, she is unfortunately afraid of people. Although curiosity can be observed when our volunteers go in her group. Therefore, she needs people who will face her with the necessary patience. She gets along well with both males and females. We believe that because she is so young and because of her personality, she has the ability with the right people to become a happy family dog.

We’re looking for : However, until then there is still work to be done. She will probably never be the right dog for an urban environment, with its stimuli and noise. We would like her to have a quiet environment where she can feel safe. Obviously a family with another dog would be a good point, for Zaida to take as an example. Then, after an adjustment phase, occasional visits from strangers will no longer be a problem. Zaida needs to learn that humans can be patient and good.

All animals available for adoption have a microchip and passport. They have been tested for common diseases (Leishmania for dogs, FeLV and FIP for cats). Adult animals are fully vaccinated and castrated.

* Until complete adaptation, adult supervision with small children is essential.
