Thor is a young dog, happy and eager to live life. Poor Thor lived his whole life as a family until it broke up and he decided to leave him behind. He is part of the same family as Ares, who is also up for adoption.

Thor has proven to be a very obedient and cooperative dog since he arrived. Establishes a strong bond with his human and maintains the connection with him/her during walks. For example, he comes back to you easily and loves to be petted as a reward. With strangers, he can be a bit insecure at first and try to avoid contact. However, this fear can be quickly overcome by going for a walk with someone he knows. On our walks he has shown himself to be very relaxed, happy and open-minded, without fear of other dogs or people. Since you have to give him a little time to get used to you, we would prefer a person who has some experience with dogs.

You would love to find an active family that spends time in nature or likes to do activities like running, cycling, walking or taking you swimming in a lake, for example. Thor loves water and with him you can do water sports like paddle surfing! Although he is an active dog, he knows how to relax easily. He knows how to find a good balance between activity and rest.

Regarding contact with other furry dogs, for the moment we have put him with females and he has shown himself to be very friendly and quite a gentleman with them. In the shelter, Thor keeps his box clean, indicating that he almost certainly knows how to relieve himself outside. In addition, he knows how to drive very well: he lies down calmly and enjoys the ride.

Thor is in search of a loving family that can provide him with a fresh start. Once the family earns their trust, they will bond closely and be a faithful companion for life.
