Ramses was found in the campo in Alcañiz one evening when one of our volunteers was out walking. He was in a terrible state, his ears were so infested with mites that he had scratched so much that behind his ears were open wounds which was causing him severe pain. As an uncastrated male you could see war wounds from fights with other male cats, scratches to his face, patches of hair torn. He was also malnourished and very hungry. Ramses was taken into our care and given the medical attention he needed. He is now well on the road to recovery and will be looking for a loving home. Despite his injuries and traumatic past Ramses shows lots of love for human attention, he loves nothing more than to receive lots of cuddles and tickles under his chin. Ramses has a very calm nature, but having been an entire male for many years he can be a little dominant with other male cats.
Adoption costs for cats : ADULT 120€ / KITTEN 60€ All animals available for adoption have a microchip and passport. They have been tested for common diseases (Leishmania for dogs, FeLV and FIV for cats). Adult animals are fully vaccinated and castrated.* Until complete adaptation, adult supervision with small children is essential.
