Living up to his name, Mufasa is the Lion King of all the cats in our shelter. He likes to sit on the highest bed of all and watch everything that happens from there like Mufasa watches in the movie his kingdom from the top of the mountain. Not only does he act like a king, but he’s quite a sage. He never fights with the other males, he is respected and loved by all, and he is also extremely intelligent. He knows perfectly well that when we enter the area with a carrier, we’re going to take a cat to the vet, so we still don’t know how, but he disappears and hides somewhere where no one has ever been able to find him.

As the wise man he is, Mufasa is wary of new people, but once he learns to trust them, he shows his big heart: Mufasa is a very sweet-natured cat who only seeks attention and cuddles when he has bonded with you. He was abandoned in the shelter when he was a baby along with his sister Ninfa, and it didn’t take him long to become a leader in our shelter.

Whoever adopts this majestic cat will need to keep him indoors until a bond is established. It would also be preferable for him to live with another cat that he gets along with, since he likes to be in the company of other cats (How could we leave the king with no one to rule over?).

Mufasa needs a person who is willing to invest time in earning his trust and love, but once he does, he will have the most one can hope for: The love, protection and loyalty of the king!

Adoption costs for cats  : ADULT  120€ / KITTEN 60€ All animals available for adoption have a microchip and passport. They have been tested for common diseases (Leishmania for dogs, FeLV and FIV for cats). Adult animals are fully vaccinated and castrated.
