URGENT! Our shelter is in crisis. The increase in dogs and cats has skyrocketed expenses. Public aid only covers 11% of the annual costs, and private donations are not enough. Our facilities are collapsing, and the animals are stressed. We owe over 10,000 euros to veterinarians, and the bills keep increasing. In May alone, we received 37 dogs. PLEASE, HELP US (donate, become a member, volunteer, or foster)

If you’re looking for a cat who is happy just to hang out around the house without needing constant attention, then Luna is perfect for you! Our little kitten found herself wandering into an area we have for cats to roam free at the shelter. Luna entered this space and was welcome by the cats in the area. Troy, Malu and Prudencio raised this little one as if she was their own baby, cleaning and playing with her. Luna has mainly been around other cats in her life so she is very afraid of humans, albeit a sweet little girl. When approached by humans, she always just stands back and watches what is going on. One of our volunteers spends time trying to eradicate some of those fears and now she will approach her when given treats, but she is still very cautious. This sweet lady will flourish with an experienced owner who understands her signals and is able to provide her with the patience and love she deserves. Our Luna needs someone to prove her that there is good in the world and will go at her pace of trusting new things. If you are that special person, hurry up! She can’t wait to meet you!
