URGENT! Our shelter is in crisis. The increase in dogs and cats has skyrocketed expenses. Public aid only covers 11% of the annual costs, and private donations are not enough. Our facilities are collapsing, and the animals are stressed. We owe over 10,000 euros to veterinarians, and the bills keep increasing. In May alone, we received 37 dogs. PLEASE, HELP US (donate, become a member, volunteer, or foster)

Glass is a true survivor. Her mother gave birth on the roof of the building and, since it was being demolished, she began to move her kittens to a safer place. Unfortunately, she was unable to move Glass because the bricklayers cemented the hole through which her mother was moving them. Due to Glass’s insistent meows, some neighbors alerted us to the existence of a kitten that was locked in a building where it had no water or food and had to suffer the high summer temperatures. This happened in the roof of a four-story building, so we had to resort to the intervention of the fire brigade due to the difficulty of accessing it.

This experience was traumatic for Glass, and for this reason she is very afraid of people. When you approach her, she will hiss. However, with her fellow cats she gets along perfectly. Glass would need a safe and secure home where she can take her time to learn and trust people. This could potentially take a long time to happen, so she would need someone with lots of patience and time.

Glass is a beautiful cat, and if given tasty treats, she will lick them from your hand. This is huge progress for our girl given her terrible start in life.
