URGENT! Our shelter is in crisis. The increase in dogs and cats has skyrocketed expenses. Public aid only covers 11% of the annual costs, and private donations are not enough. Our facilities are collapsing, and the animals are stressed. We owe over 10,000 euros to veterinarians, and the bills keep increasing. In May alone, we received 37 dogs. PLEASE, HELP US (donate, become a member, volunteer, or foster)

Elda was wandering through a restaurant and was surprised by a passerby and took her to the animal shelter. The caregivers quickly noticed that she was not reacting to noises. Elda is hard of hearing (probably completely deaf). Elda is a very friendly dog. At first she was a little distrustful of strangers, but now she has understood that people don’t want to hurt her and she is simply happy with each visitor. She doesn’t get too excited, but she greets you happily and then enjoys all the petting she can get. Elda actively seeks contact with people and follows the caregivers every step of the way through the facility. She currently shares a small area with an older dog whom she repeatedly asks to play, but whose requests she obediently accepts when she wants to be left alone. Even when they eat together, Elda is always respectful and considerate of Grandpa Chano, who is no longer very fit. Elda is playful and active for her age and she would love to be able to enjoy her in her new family for a little more than what the animal shelter can currently offer her. However, she can relax well alone. Due to her hearing disability, Elda needs a family that understands her special needs and who relies on a canine educator to guide Elda and her new family with kind guidelines to guarantee a successful coexistence, it would also be very It is good that Elda could have a safe older brother so that he can act as a bridge between Elda and her future family, but this is not mandatory. Due to her breed, we hope she will have hunting instincts when she is older and, no doubt, she will enjoy working her nose later. With her wonderful character, Elda has what it takes to be the ideal family dog.

Adoption costs for dogs  : ADULT 180€ / PUPPY 120€ All animals available for adoption have a microchip and passport. They have been tested for common diseases (Leishmania for dogs, FeLV and FIV for cats). Adult animals are fully vaccinated and castrated.

* Until complete adaptation, adult supervision with small children is essential.

** This means we have tested the dog with cats in the shelter and has shown no reactive behaviour, but this does not guarantee 100% compatibility with cats. Therefore, we always advise that cats and dogs are together only under surveillance.
