An impressive coat with dark stripes, large black eyes, a long and refined nose, and an extremely elegant movement accompanied by a soft and delicate look… Observing our Tiger is quite a spectacle.

Tiger is not only gorgeous on the outside, but he is also beautiful on the inside. He is calm, affectionate and has a very good character, although he is still a bit cautious when approaching people. When he arrived at the shelter, he was initially intimidated, but he quickly made friends with the other greyhounds. Greyhounds stand out for being a very sociable breed, and Tiger proved to be a magnificent representative of it, integrating into the greyhound-podenco group in no time.

He is now showing more and more of his loving side to people who get close to him, and although he is reserved when he first meets a stranger, he increasingly enjoys being petted and finds it very easy to bring out his simple and charming personality.

Tiger, like a good greyhound, also loves to walk and is extremely graceful. As you can see from his pictures and videos, he’s so good at walking on leash in the city! He is not scared of people or noises and he doesn’t pull from you. He just walks patiently by your side, at your speed. He has such an expertise that would think he’s always gone for walks like this!

Tiger still carries his old life. The poor thing was found walking towards a garbage dump looking for food very hungry. We suspect he was abandoned by a hunter. However, our volunteers were able to pick him up and take him to the shelter, where he currently lives.

This beauty is ready for someone to open their home and heart for him. If you have already fallen in love with him, you should know that greyhounds love to be in a pack, so being the second dog in a household would be ideal. If you don’t have another dog, keep in mind that they really like company, so be prepared to spend a lot of time with them.

Greyhounds love to be indoors, but they usually have a strong hunting drive when out in the wild as well, so they love to run. We would like to find a home for Tiger that has a safe garden or outdoor area in which he can run free. Also, watching them run is quite a spectacle!
