Lisa is a very sweet dog who has been through a lot in life but is now ready to find a loving home. Lisa has undergone an incredible transformation at the shelter since she arrived, becoming much more open, playful, and affectionate.
Lisa arrived at the shelter after her owner passed away and had been living in isolation in a shed away from the world. Initially, she wasn’t used to human company, so she was very shy and insecure. However, with patience and love, she has overcome her fears, gained confidence in people, and now loves to be petted and seeks contact with people independently. She also enjoys playing with a ball, both with people and on her own. She’s an absolute darling!
Outside of the shelter, Lisa is very cheerful and eager to live and explore her surroundings. One important thing for Lisa is the presence of a confident dog by her side. She feels much safer with another dog, opens up more, and shows more curiosity about the world around her with this support. To help Lisa reach her full potential, she will need the company of a confident dog in the adopting family. Currently, Lisa spends a lot of time with a group of male and female dogs of all ages at the shelter and gets along very well with all of them.
Lisa was diagnosed with heartworm disease in the fall of 2022. Since then, she has been receiving treatment to address her condition. We are pleased to report that Lisa has finished its treatment, has responded very well to the medication and is now perfectly healthy. She will have a control for heartworm disease in october 2023.
We are looking for a loving and active family willing to show Lisa all that the world has to offer with calmness and security. Her ideal adoptive family would have another dog at home to assist her in the adaptation process and should have some experience with shy dogs. By the way, Lisa already knows how to walk very well on a leash and harness!
We are confident that with love, patience, and dedication, Lisa will become a loyal companion who will enjoy long walks, cuddles, and playtime in her new home. If you think you could be the right family for Lisa, please don’t hesitate to contact us. She is ready to start a new chapter in her life and is eager to find a home filled with love and care.
Adoption costs for dogs : ADULT 180€ / PUPPY 120€
* Until complete adaptation, adult supervision with small children is essential.
** This means we have tested the dog with cats in the shelter and has shown no reactive behaviour, but this does not guarantee 100% compatibility with cats. Therefore, we always advise that cats and dogs are together only under surveillance.
