Little baby Demba is a very lucky kitten indeed. Found by one of our volunteers who was out walking one evening, she heard cries coming from an abandoned building, upon entering she found the tiniest of kittens. After monitoring the area for some time and searching for other kittens or the mother, there was no sign and as the evening was getting dark she feared for this little one. Demba was taken into our care and treated for fleas and ticks as her little body was covered in them. Once she was clean she was added to a litter of kittens already in our care. The Mama cat (Kitty) accepted Demba straight away and started to clean her and let her drink milk. It was amazing to see how this little kitten who had just lost his family was warmly accepted into a new one, where she now belongs. Demba is now settled with her older brothers and sister and her new Mama, and will be looking for a new loving home at the end of July.
